1. The service
Testosaurus is a managed feedback service: an embeddable widget that collects reports, screenshots, and session replays from your application's users, an AI distillation pipeline that converts raw reports into structured issues, and a dashboard with integrations, webhooks, and export. The service runs on Cloudflare infrastructure and is accessed at testosaurus.dev (or its custom domains).
The service is in active development. We may change, add, or remove features; material changes that reduce core functionality will be announced in the changelog and, for paid accounts, by email.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use the service. During the invite period, sign-up requires a valid invite code. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account email, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. One account per person or organisation; project tokens are publishable credentials — treat leaks as security incidents and rotate them.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to collect or process unlawful content, to spam or flood the submission endpoints, to probe or overload the infrastructure, or to resell the service without agreement. Automated use is supported through the documented API and MCP surfaces within your plan's limits; everything else that looks like abuse gets rate-limited or suspended.
You are the controller of your end-user data. Feedback, screenshots, and replays may contain personal data about the users of your application. You must have a lawful basis to collect it (including consent flows for screenshots and replay, which the widget supports), publish your own privacy notice, and configure masking where required. We process that data on your instructions as a processor; a data processing agreement is available on request for business customers.
4. Billing
Plans and allowances are published on the pricing page. The metered unit is the accepted submission; storage is quota-based. All prices are in EUR and exclude VAT or other taxes, which are your responsibility where applicable. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never store card numbers.
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancellation and card management are self-serve in the customer portal and take effect at the end of the paid period; no proration refunds are issued mid-period. Overage beyond your allowance is drawn from a prepaid balance: top-up credit does not expire, and refunds of unused credit are at our discretion except where required by law. Consumers in the EU keep any statutory withdrawal rights. If payment fails, Stripe retries; accounts that remain unpaid may be downgraded to the Free plan, where reports are kept but distillation is disabled.
5. Plan limits and enforcement
Each plan defines project limits, submission allowances, AI credit, storage and seats. You can select a stop-at-limit policy, opt into supported paid overage and set usage alert thresholds. Submission and AI allowances reset monthly. Storage and seats remain occupied until uploads or members are removed. Reaching a resource limit stops the corresponding new submissions, AI processing, uploads or invitations. Paid overage may draw from your balance as described on the pricing page.
6. Availability and support
While in beta the service is provided without an uptime guarantee or SLA. We monitor the infrastructure and aim to keep it healthy, and support is best-effort via email, with faster response on paid plans. Enterprise SLAs, if any, are agreed in a separate document.
7. Your data and intellectual property
You own your feedback data. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service: storing it, distilling it, delivering it to your configured webhooks and integrations, and showing it to you. You can export everything as JSON at any time and delete a project or your whole account from the dashboard; deletion removes the data from production systems. The service itself — the widget, backend, dashboard, and brand — is and stays our property. The SDK is licensed for use with the service, not for redistribution as part of a competing product.
Feedback content sent through the distillation pipeline is processed by third-party LLM providers solely to produce your structured reports; it is not used to train models.
8. Suspension and termination
You can terminate at any time by deleting your account, which also deletes your data. We may suspend accounts for non-payment or material breach of these terms after notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (data ownership, liability, governing law) do.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability where doing so is not permitted by law, including for intent or gross negligence.
10. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, with EU consumer-protection law applying where mandatory. We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with its effective date, and material changes are announced in advance. Continued use after a change takes effect means acceptance.
